I was born and raised in Detroit and then transplanted to the Washington D.C. area. I earned a dual bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in Sociology and Women's Studies and then my master's degree in English Literature from the University of Maryland. Haha:) I can't wait myself... but actually - I decided to follow my motto of "travel waits for no woman" and am heading on a mini-mini-sabbatical for 6 weeks...to Caribbean. From end November to early Jan. Figure it will be a great way to test the waters.:) I'll blog while away but if not am keeping notes so will write when I return in january.
