Chief among his goals as Editor of Matador Travel is to publish stories that, while rooted in particular places and cultures, resonate with people everywhere.
Eva Holland is a historical researcher and freelance writer living in Ottawa, Canada. She studied at the University of King's College in Halifax, Nova Scotia, before completing an MA in Imperial History at the University of Durham in northern England. She blogs about travel for World Hum and Vagablogging, and her writing has appeared in The Ottawa Citizen, The Edmonton Journal, and Matador Travel.
From Santa Barbara to Alaska's interior, Elizabeth is a lifelong resident of the Pacific Coast. She currently makes her home in the Italian/Chinese neighborhood of San Francisco where she writes about travel, the environment, food, sustainable farming, and culinary traditions.
